Fire and Ice

WOWZA!
I could not believe these pictures of the Sakurajima volcanic eruption taken this past February
by photographer Martin Rietze ...

He has captured Mother Nature in a fiery rage ...
remarkable!

And across the planet in Russia,
photographer Denis Budko's photos of
caves in Kamchatka are equally magnificent.

It is sometimes so easy to forget the simple splendors
that Mother Nature provides us for daily inspirations, caught up with work and schedules and life.
I am really enjoying watching the plants in my garden begin to sprout, the bright colours that are popping out...

How I love Spring!

Wishing you a colourful weekend,

xo,
Nathalie

Sometimes You Just Need To Dance

sculptures by Regardt Van Der Meulen

We dance for laughter,
We dance for tears,
We dance for madness,
We dance for tears,
We dance for hopes,
We dance for screams,
We are the dancers,
We create the dreams.

Francesco Romoli

When I woke up this morning, it was dark...

Sometimes you just need to get some music on and dance, dance until all of the kinks are out!

I am crazy in love with these over 6 foot tall steel dancers by Regart van der Meulen, and if you visit often, you may know my admiration of Daniel Burns Flemings' petite bronzes.

We all have a dancer within...
Put on your dancing shoes and have a great week!

Dear March

DEAR March, come in!
How glad I am!
I looked for you before.
Put down your hat—
You must have walked—        5
How out of breath you are!
Dear March, how are you?
And the rest?
Did you leave Nature well?
Oh, March, come right upstairs with me,        10
I have so much to tell!

I got your letter, and the bird’s;
The maples never knew
That you were coming,—I declare,
How red their faces grew!        15
But, March, forgive me—
And all those hills
You left for me to hue;
There was no purple suitable,
You took it all with you.        20

Who knocks? That April!
Lock the door!
I will not be pursued!
He stayed away a year, to call
When I am occupied.        25
But trifles look so trivial
As soon as you have come,
That blame is just as dear as praise
And praise as mere as blame.

Happy March and Happy Weekend to all!
