Marilyn has always intrigued me...
I recently came upon this shoot that I'd never seen before ~

Fabulous, aren't they!?

Are you a Marilyn fan too?

La vita e pazza would be my mantra lately...
But I see a light at the end of the tunnel!
Somehow I survived 3 quarters of homeschooling a 2nd and 5th grader...
We are in the last quarter, the boys are all set for their schools in the fall...
I feel 5 years older, but hopefully in time those years will revert back!

Next week is our Spring Break, and I look forward to spending time visiting the blogging homes of my favourite friends!

Until then,

  1. Chere Nathalie, you are amazing! I did not know that you home school...(where have I been?)
I admire you so much for doing that..I considered it as well a couple of years ago. Just don't think it's the right thing for my girl. We certainly supplement learning in many ways at home.
No worries about the "tagged" game, I understand busy! So glad your business is doing great ;)
And we loved TinTin (although I could do w/o some of the shooting...I'm sensitive..hee).
Enjoy your gorgeous weekend, sweet friend, and thank you for visiting me!
    Love and hugs,
    - Irina

  2. Oh, and those Marilyn photos are fabulous. What a stunning woman...

  3. I had never seen this photo shoot before either Nathalie and I just love it! she's just amazing! And yes, you are amazing too, well done on completing three quarters of homeschooling with your two boys! Hope you can relax this weekend.
Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful night xx

  4. Dear Nathalie,
It seems like Marilyn is an icon of enduring interest. I just saw a presentation about her yesterday which explored why that is.
I've never seen these photos either and they are very clever.
Have a wonderful spring break. It sounds like you need to catch your breath.

  5. Natalie! YOU HOME SCHOOL? Teaching is a noble job but yes, the SYSTEM has made it really tough to live a healthy life, at least for me. I felt it was time to find my true self. But let me tell you, it would not have happened unless it would have been for ALL OF YOU. Blogging has changed my life!

Now to work on some Etsy ideas!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! And Marilyn is SO GORGEOUS in these shots!!!! Anita

  6. I admire you for being a home school mom, Nathalie. I know it's very challenging. Hope you enjoy your spring break! Have a good week! xo

  7. oh i feel like i missed so much! how did it come to be that you were homeschooling? it's so funny, i always thought it was crazy to homeschool. my brother went to a very tiny school and was homeschooled with some of his friends, because that school no longer had the capacity to teach him. and he wasn't socially adept, but really his social skills have nothing to do with his schooling. and after having a baby and actually thinking about all this stuff, i would love to be able to homeschool. start a farm somewhere. and have a homestead sort of life. i'm sure part of that has to do with my travels too. but anyway, i know i'm romanticizing the whole thing and that homeschooling would be very difficult, and rewarding. we have some time to figure all this out, but it doesn't seem like a possibility if we stay living here. move to turkey? ha! i'm rambling now... wishing you a lovely week!!!

I love hearing from you!
