Photographer Nathaniel Kramer...To Die For!
I came across this amazing photo collage of cherry trees from photographer Nathaniel Kramer in Elle Decor...and had to see more! I am madly in love with his use of colour and nature, and want to do a house a room an outfit, something anything using his work as inspiration! See more of his work below or visit his gallery here.

Celebrating Earth Day in the Cosmos and in the Shopping Arena
I came across these beautiful images of the Universe taken by the Hubble Space telescope, which is exploring 24/7 up in our skies. They really are stunning, and makes me curious about taking a trip out into the Universe. Maybe not in my lifetime for me, but I am sure this will be more accessible to my children or grandchildren. Above is "Journey through the Orion Nebula"
Happy Earth Day!

There are so many color variations and designs available... a great idea that Zippinning has posted on her shop is to use these for curtain ties...that would be so fun for a little girls' room!all Hubble Space Telescope images via NASA

Beaches on the Brain
Thinking about bathing suits got me thinking about beaches. My whole life I have lived on or near a beach, so it is pretty surprising that I have lived for 5 years now in the middle of the desert. The ocean, or any body of water is so peaceful and mesmerizing. But I have been surprised to find that I get the same feeling being surrounded by beautiful mountains...at least, almost! Here are a few of my favourite spots that I have been to or lived. Above is Lanikai beach on Oahu...I lived for 10 years in Hawaii as a child, and spent every weekend on this beach...the sand is the softest whisper of powder. I always said that when I grew up I would have a house on this beach... There's still time, I haven't quite grown up yet!
Where are your favourite spots?
As a child we would go to my grandparents in Port Dover, on the shores of Lake Erie. We had so much fun! Chilly water though...all images via google

If I were 21 or even perhaps 32 again, I would LOVE the hot number above by Betsey Johnson...

SAFE with Karl Lagerfeld
"Narcissus"...the most expensive home safe in the world, designed by no other than Karl Lagerfeld...You had better move quick, they are made to order and limited to an edition of 30...now available at LA Closet Design in West Hollywood, for about $340,000. Made by the German safe manufacturer Dottling, it weighs 1760 pounds, and is about 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide. The exterior is chrome plated aluminum, and it has "owner recognition technology", which opens up two handcrafted interior cabinets that pop out from the sides...
Leave it to Karl...I wish I had enough treasures to fill this up!
