I have met so many wonderful and talented people on Etsy. I really would not shop anywhere else! I was blessed enough to be the recipient of an order from Meagan of Mockingbird Willow in Melbourne. Checking out her shop made me want to completely re-do my boys rooms with her art! There is nothing like a jolt of colour to get the sensory juices flowing.

The staggered openings of City Center start December 1st, when Vdara, the first building, opens. For those of us that live here in Las Vegas, we have been watching the construction of this even more "over the top" production with awe...surprising here, where everything is... well... over the top. I guess in a way it is a good thing the economy slowed things down, because, really, how could it have kept on going?
On December 5th, The Mandarin Oriental opens...
Designed by Adam Tihany, and a restaurant by Pierre Gagnaire
"Aria" opens December 16... some highlights are:
"Elvis Presley" show by Cirque de Soleil
Restaurants:
"American Fish" by Michael Mina
Jean Phillippe Maury Patisserie
Julian Serrano Cuisine
Sirio Ristorante by Sirio and Mario Maccioni
and...
Bar Masi by Masayoshi Takayama, 3 Star Michelin Chef
To all of the Veterans out there, today and everyday we thank you for all that you do and have done to make the world a safer place!
I have always loved sari's... the colours and the embroidery
If you are ever in Vegas and get tired of "The Strip", I highly recommend a trip to The Springs Preserve. Only 15 minutes away, it is a 180 acre cultural institution that commemorates Las Vegas' dynamic history, and provides a vision for a sustainable future. There are museums, galleries, an outdoor ampitheatre for concerts and events, colourful botanical gardens and trails, and a Wolfgang Puck Cafe with fantastic views of Las Vegas. We attended "The Haunted Harvest" that they throw for the first time this year, and will be returning every year. It was so decorated so phenomenally, and my boys are still trembling from the Haunted Hayride!
