Kandinsky at The Guggenheim in NYC

I became intrigued with Kandinsky's work after reading about Peggy Guggenheim, and seeing his pieces at her museum in Venice. I'd love to be in New York right now, to visit the Guggenheim Museum's Kandinsky exhibit. This exhibit draws from the three largest public holdings of his work... The Guggenheim Museum, The Centre Pompidou in Paris, and The Stadtische Gallerie im Lenbachhaus, Munich, as well as several other renowned institutions and private collections. All combined to offer 100 paintings from 1902 to 1942. What an incredible opportunity to see works from a legend credited with inventing modern abstract painting. New York here I come!
At The Guggenheim from September 18 to January 13
