This Mediterranean mansion in the middle of Hollywood is 7,783 square feet, has nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, 25-foot-high beamed and coffered ceilings, a wine cellar, an elevator, swimming pool, rose gardens, and a tower. The estate is on 3 acres and has 300 degree views of the L.A. basin, downtown L.A., mid-Wilshire and the ocean.
Designed in 1926 by John DeLario for an oilman, it cost $250,000. Previous owners such as Bugsy Siegel and Madonna add to the intrigue. Filmmaker and commercial director Joe Pytka ( I knew him well in my Wolfgang Puck days - a very interesting man who loves nothing other than the best that life has to offer) has spent the past 15 years restoring the mansion. He purchased the mansion from Madonna in the mid-'90 s for about 5 million.
If you are wanting to live the Hollywood dream, this could do it for you!
Have a great week-end,
